I was diagnosed with FMS {and IBS},and I had been taking 1-2 painkillers everyday for around 3 years. At its worst I was on 3 different medications taking 9 tablets per day. Including various types of SSRI's to help with pain.
Since the detox I stopped taking the antidepressants, I had no adverse effects and have not taken any since. In addition my pain medication is down from 1-2 tablets daily to half a tablet approx twice a week.
I have made some changes to my diet although have slipped frequently and not without guilt back to old habits. The difference is now I'm far more aware and equipped to get back on track.
I'm hoping to do another detox to get off the pankillers completely but I'm absolutely thrilled at the progress I've made due to the retreat.
